Marketing emails and future-program announcements will be sent according to the permission selected by the recipient. Individuals may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Unsubscribing from marketing messages will not prevent necessary communications related to an active application, enrollment, payment, or program.
If a parent or guardian selects text messaging as a preferred contact method, standard message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not required to apply or enroll.
Student Privacy
Empowered Pathways is designed for students ages 14 to 18. Application and registration forms must be completed by a parent, legal guardian, or other adult with legal authority to provide consent.
The website and program are not directed to children under 13. Empowered Pathways does not knowingly collect personal information online directly from a child under 13 without legally sufficient parental consent.
If we learn that personal information was collected from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has submitted information should contact brianne@1empowered.com.
Virtual Session Recordings
Virtual sessions may be recorded for private educational review, missed-session support, program administration, safety, and recordkeeping.
Recordings may include a student’s name, voice, image, participation, presentation, or work. Private educational recordings may be shared through private methods with enrolled families and authorized program personnel.
Private recordings will not be posted publicly or used for advertising unless separate public promotional permission has been granted.
Additional information is available in the Media and Recording Release and Parent and Guardian Consent Agreement.
Public Promotional Materials
Public use of a student’s image, voice, work, photograph, video, presentation, name, or likeness is optional and subject to the promotional permission selected during registration.
Declining public promotional permission will not affect a student’s application, eligibility, enrollment, or participation.
A parent or legal guardian may withdraw permission for future promotional use by contacting brianne@1empowered.com. Withdrawal may not require removal of materials that were already printed, published, distributed, or incorporated into completed content before the request was received.
